Here We Go!

I've been wanting to create a blog for a long time and I'm finally getting up the nerve to do it. I'll be honest -- I don't know where this blog is going to go and what you might find here from day to day.

But here's what I'm kind of thinking: there'll be stories about my life and what's happening along the way, updates about where my many interests are taking me and what I'm discovering and learning. And most certainly I'll be sharing my thoughts about faith and how God is working in my life.

So why start a blog? There are so many blogs that I read and I often find myself wishing that I could have a place in the blogosphere where I could join in on the fun and get to know people ... and I guess this is it!

Obviously this is a work in progress. I have a lot to learn! I started out trying to create this blog using Wordpress but quickly found myself becoming pretty overwhelmed and decided to stick with Blogger where I feel a bit more confident and comfortable. I have a lot to learn about making this blog a pretty place to visit without worrying about how to manage the technical stuff in the sidebar. So please -- bear with me! (or is it bare?) I'll get there.
